Five Cleaning Strategies to Reduce Workplace Allergies – Part 1

Do you have allergies? Do they bother you at work? Do your colleagues have allergies that bother you? If so, here are five strategies that will help you and your coworkers sneeze and sniffle less often.

  • Strategy No. 1: Clean well and often. The workplace is full of allergens, including dust mites, mold, pet dander, cockroaches, rodents and pollen. If you clean well and often, you can reduce the allergens in your workplace.
  • Strategy No. 2: Use floor mats. Floor mats prevent dirt, dust and other allergens from entering your building. Allergens can’t make you sneeze if they never enter your building!
  • Strategy No. 3: Clean with microfiber. Microfiber is a tiny, tiny fiber that is woven together and then used to create cleaning tools, such as cloths, towels, mops, dusting mitts, and dusting wands. Microfiber attracts and traps dust particles instead of merely moving them around. You can use microfiber products to mop floors, clean baseboards, clean partitions, dust furniture, wash windows, or clean walls and vents.

Stay tuned for strategy No. 3 & 4 coming soon!
